This was a great place to take an easy (to intermediate) light hike. Though the $7 entrance fee was a little steep (plus a donation if you want a map of the trails), the trails were well maintained and had great views. We took the pain de sucre trail up to a nice view, though it was a little crowded. We were able to see a deer and a vulture in the area. We passed by burned hill trail on the way down and while there wasn't as good of views, the trail was really pleasant and made for a nice descent.

Well maintained and marked trails. Gorgeous views after strenuous hike. Main downside is traffic getting here on a hot summer's day, we waited 20 minutes before being allowed in to park.

Way too crowded to be pleasant (early afternoon on a Tuesday, no holiday whatsoever). A lot of people don't respect the rules. I saw a guy with a dog, a turd in a bush and a whole bunch of people walking on protected spaces to take pictures of their fat asses in spandex hugging trees, because they like nature so much they're ready to stomp on it to show their friends on some dumb social network for peasants. The park was gorgeous... Really a shame.

4-5 different tracks that have different difficulties.

Also, you need to get there a few hours before close time, as even if you get there before closing time, they might refuse you in, as they have to calculate the time you would need to come back to the entrance.

This is an amazing hiking location that is easily accessible from Montreal. It’s about 1hr away, but well worth the drive. The cost is very reasonable and there is ample parking. The trails are very clean and well preserved. You have easy, intermediate and difficult trails with beautiful views to reward you for reaching the top.
